Mii de câini ajung anual în adăposturi din cauza faptului că sunt pierduți în orașe. Cei mai mulți dintre ei nu sunt recuperați niciodată de stăpâni și sfârșesc tragic.
O metoda bună de creștere a șanselor de găsire a acestora este aplicarea unui microcip și înregistrarea în Registrul De Evidență Al Câinilor Cu Stăpan (RECS).
Ce este microciparea și cum se face?
Microciparea este o procedură non-invaziva de implantare subcutanată a unui chip de dimensiunea unui bob de orez, de obicei plasat între umerii animalului. Chip-ul are un număr unic de înregistrare și poate fi detectat și citit de un scanner.
Procedura în sine durează câteva secunde, la fel ca o injecție obișnuită, diferența fiind că se utilizează o seringă specială.
Microciparea se poate face și altor animale de companie, pentru a facilita identificarea acestora, în caz de pierdere.
În plus, microciparea câinilor este o procedură obligatorie pentru eliberarea unui pașaport internațional, în cazul în care doriți să călătoriți cu animalul în afara țării.
Ce avantaje are microciparea câinilor?
– nu este dureroasa și nu pune în pericol viața animalului
– ajută la identificarea rapidă a animalelor
– numărul de înregistrare este valabil oriunde în lume
– citirea se poate face rapid
– permite identificarea animalelor pierdute
– descurajează furtul
Înregistrare RECS (Registrul De Evidență Al Câinilor Cu Stăpân)
Înregistrarea câinilor în RECS este obligatorie!
1. Un câine care nu este înregisrat în RECS la caini va fi considerat a fi “fără stăpân”
2. Câinii care sunt microcipați, dar nu au fost înregistrați, pot fi înscriși în RECS, doar dacă chip-ul este valabil
3. Din data de 15 martie 2014 Legea interzice vaccinarea antirabică a câinilor neînregistrați
4. Puii de câine – trebuie microcipați în termen de 90 de zile de la naștere, înainte de plasarea lor în alt domiciliu.
6. Orice schimbare intervenită în viața câinelui: schimbarea stăpânului, vânzare, donare, pierdere, furt, trebuie înregistrată în RECS. Proprietarul are obligativitatea informării medicului veterinar!
5. Sterilizarea câinilor de rasă mixtă, care nu au un atestat de rasă de la Asociația Chinologică, este obligatorie. Excepție fac exemplarele care nu pot suporta această intervenție din cauza anumitor boli.
Pașaportul pentru animale de companie
Pașaportul pentru animale de companie este un document creat de Uniunea Europeană, care este eliberat de medicul veterinar – farmacia veterinara din bucurești și conține informatți despre vaccinările pe care animalul le-a primit.
Pașaportul vă oferă dreptul de a călători cu animalul de companie în afara granițelor țării și este valabil pe perioada vieții animalului.
Fiecare țară din lume are propriile reguli în ceea ce privește animalele de companie care îi trec granița, de aceea înainte de a călători, trebuie consultată lista cu reguli.
